Danielle Ramsay Is an Associate lawyer with MD Lawyers. She joined the firm in 2020, initially as a first year law student. She would continue to attend Law School, while working at MD Lawyers completing her Articling (2020-2021), followed by her ‘Call to Bar’ in the Spring of 2022.
Danielle graduated with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Juris Doctor degree from Western University. Her background in health sciences taught her to look at health holistically from a biological, psychological, social, emotional, and economic point of view. Danielle understands how an injury can impact all domains of an individual’s life, including relationships with friends and family, work, hobbies, and self-identity and this understanding fuels her advocacy for her clients.
She was recognized for excellence in writing and legal research (Outer Space Law) and received the J.S.D. Tory Writing Prize. In addition, she received the Winkler Class Action Moot – Second Place Oralist & Best Plaintiffs’ Factums award.
Not all Articling Students have the opportunity to contribute at a trial. Danielle‘s contribution during her articles to the successful outcome of a medical malpractice jury trial is proof she has all the attributes to be a strong advocate and successful litigator.
Away from work she enjoys reading, swimming, working out, strategy games, travelling and sharing time with her loved ones.
Danielle works with the multi-talented team at MD Lawyers on a wide variety of personal injury matters, including medical malpractice and motor vehicle collisions.
As an articling student Danielle had the opportunity to participate and contribute to the successful outcome of a medical malpractice jury trial.
