Danielle joined MD Lawyers as a first-year law student and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2022. She has dedicated herself to advocating for her clients with honesty, knowledge, and unwavering passion.
Danielle graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Juris Doctor degree from Western University. Her background in health sciences assists her in appreciating the life altering impacts an injury has on a person, and their loved ones, from a biological, psychological, social, emotional, and economic point of view. She understands that when someone has sustained an injury or dies because of negligence, it impacts every facet of their life and their loved ones’ lives, including their work, hobbies, identity, and relationships with others. Danielle assists her clients with pursuing compensation for their injury or loss and understanding their legal rights. Her goal is to provide clear, honest communication and to ensure her clients feel supported and informed throughout every step of the legal process.
During law school, Danielle was recognized for excellence in writing and legal research, receiving the J.S.D. Tory Writing Prize for a paper she wrote on Outer Space Law. She also received awards for Second Place Oralist and Best Factum in the Winkler Class Action Moot.
While completing her Articling with MD Lawyers, Danielle had the opportunity to contribute to the successful outcome of a medical malpractice jury trial. This foundational experience was instrumental in shaping her approach to legal advocacy, emphasizing meticulous preparation and a client-focused strategy from the outset of the case. By thoroughly examining the theory of the case and the potential challenges from the beginning, she ensures a comprehensive strategy for success.
Outside of work, Danielle enjoys reading, swimming, yoga, strategy games, travelling, and sharing time with her loved ones.
As an articling student Danielle had the opportunity to participate and contribute to the successful outcome of a medical malpractice jury trial.
