Summer Law Students 2023

MD Lawyers expects to hire 1L and 2L summer law students for 2023.  To be eligible, students must have completed their first year of law school by the time their summer employment would start.  

Timelines for summer law students

Applications Due:  Tuesday, January 17, 2023 by 5:00 pm

Calls to Schedule Interviews:  Friday, January 27, 2023, commencing at 8:00 am

Interviews: Monday, February 6, 2023, at 8:00am to Wednesday February 8, 2023.

Offers for employment:  Thursday February 10, 2023 commencing at 8:00 am.

Application package should include the following:

  • Cover letter.
  • Resume.
  • A copy of your undergrad transcript and your law school transcript to date, as well as your graduate transcript, if applicable.  If the timing of release of marks at your law school is such that your transcript will not reflect your most recent grades, please feel free to provide whatever unofficial record about those grades that is available from your law school.  
  • A list of course in which  you are currently enrolled if your transcript does not already include this information, and as well, a list of the courses in which he/she anticipate enrolling in your third year of law school. 
  • Written Paper submission is not required but is welcome.
  • Reference letters are not required but are welcome.
